About The Position

Aeon is seeking an apartment maintenance professional to join their maintenance team at The Crest in Brooklyn Center, MN. This part-time Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all aspects of the physical operations of the apartment community, ensuring that Aeon standards are met in areas such as preventative maintenance, safety and security, physical condition, market appeal, customer service, and utility conservation. The role also includes supporting the general upkeep of the property, including regular trash removal and trash chute management. The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Property Manager.

Requirements

Must have a demonstrated skillset in general apartment maintenance.

A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and regular access to a reliable vehicle are required.
Own basic tools.
Currently have and/or be able to obtain a Special Boiler's License within the first six months of employment with Aeon.

Responsibilities

Completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned by performing a wide variety of general maintenance and repair functions including: Plumbing
Electrical
Appliance repair
Air handler and general HVAC maintenance
Lock changes
Apartment turnovers
Preventative maintenance
Installation and repair of window coverings, doors, cabinets, light fixtures, etc.
Regular trash chute maintenance and management
Regular Inside/outside debris removal
Seasonal duties: light snow removal, salting/sanding
