About The Position

Repairs and maintains industrial equipment and building infrastructure such as building HVAC, motors, pneumatics, and production related roll to roll PLC controlled converting equipment.

Requirements

More than five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment such as film laminating or printing; or more than five (5) years of experience as a field service technician repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.
Technical College Associates Degree, High School diploma, or general education degree (GED).

Nice To Haves

PLC experience is a plus.
Machining skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ability to troubleshoot process equipment breakdowns – both mechanical, electrical, and PLC related.
Ability to change out electrical and mechanical parts such pumps and motors.
Must be able to read ladder logic to help troubleshoot machine problems.
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings / blueprints.
Must be familiar with the use of hand tools such as a drill, a grinder, wrenches, screw drivers, etc.
Familiar with the use of electrical measuring devices such as a multi-meter, clamp meter, etc.
Work with production to identify and correct equipment failures and/or other mechanical/electrical issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
