The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing general custodial and maintenance of the Elyria building including but not limited to grounds keeping, housekeeping, snow removal and monitoring facility utility system. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing the following job duties: Administer all aspects of maintenance, lawn care, and janitorial services Assist in all general phases of building maintenance and grounds. Maintain plumbing, electrical, heating/air conditioning systems for the comfort of the staff and individuals in the building Complete all work orders Assist with emergencies and be able to respond in a reasonable time Complete all janitorial duties on a daily basis Keep the grounds and all equipment in good condition, including mowing, edging, trash removal, hedge trimming, snow removal, and equipment maintenance Monitor health and safety drills and reports monthly Assist with moving furniture when needed for office setups, reorganizations, or staff meetings Responsible for being a positive role model to all participants and employees. Responsible for assuring that all aspects of the department are in keeping with DOL, OSHA, and quality control standards. Presents with a professional image and is a positive role model. Manage time efficiently and organize tasks effectively.
