About The Position

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in Stuart, FL. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of our facility, providing a clean and well-maintained environment for both patients and staff. As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure facility safety and compliance, maintain buildings, common areas, and patient living spaces in accordance with health and safety standards, support the mission by contributing to a well-maintained and secure environment that fosters healing and recovery, enhance your skills by working across multiple maintenance areas including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and renovations, and find career growth opportunities with training, internal promotions, and skill development. You will join a collaborative team, working closely with the Regional Facility Manager and Director of Operations to uphold high facility standards. Requirements

  • Five or more years of maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years
  • Must be 21+ years old (insurance requirement)
  • Knowledge of OSHA & infection control practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in residential, hospital or medical settings, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, remodeling, renovations, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with building, safety, and health codes.
  • Install and maintain appliances, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Monitor and respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and integrity of the entire facility.
