About The Position

Paramark Corporation is seeking a dedicated part-time Maintenance Technician in Longmont, CO, working 20 hours per week. Founded in 1971, Paramark Real Estate Services provides property management, facility management, and commercial brokerage services across multiple states. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations and ensuring the upkeep of the property, working under the guidance of the Property Manager and Regional Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
  • Experience with hand tools, including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
  • Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
  • Experience with mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
  • Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to use email

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion
  • Ensure all service requests are completed daily
  • Accurately document work performed through our electronic work order system
  • Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists
  • Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager
  • Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs
  • Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs
  • Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory
  • Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors
  • Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed
  • Coordinate with the Property Manager daily
  • Perform and report on all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy daily
  • Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude
