About The Position

Ferrellgas, recently recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies for 2025, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its Blue Rhino team. This role involves a wide range of daily duties including the inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles, equipment, and systems. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for documenting these tasks while maintaining safety, productivity, and financial responsibility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' maintenance / mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Mandatory overtime when necessary.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training / technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors equipment for unusual sounds to detect malfunction.
  • Responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Conducts daily inspections & completes maintenance inspection logs.
  • Provides technical information and operational guidance to production employees.
  • Assists leadership with problem resolution and correction of equipment deficiencies.
  • Constantly considers long term upgrades / repairs.
