About The Position

Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production and utilities equipment in the NDT manufacturing area to maintain them in optimal operating condition, always looking for their highest performance, and ensuring uninterrupted operation. Develop and implement improvement projects and necessary modifications to the manufacturing and utilities assigned equipment. Proactively address, resolve, and follow up on recurring or critical problems with the assigned equipment. Document all maintenance reports and activities in the corresponding database. Train the maintenance team's technical personnel, as well as new hires, according to the established development plan for the assigned equipment or areas. Create, modify, and maintain up-to-date assigned quality records. Submit requisitions for parts, materials, and tools necessary for assigned activities. Support and assist the engineering, quality, and production personnel in process and equipment improvement activities, and projects.

Requirements

  • Must have 3 years of experience and a Technical degree in industrial electronics and automation, mechatronics, instrumentation and control, or some other related degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of programming Allen Bradley PLC’s (SLC, Micrologix, and ControlLogix), HMI’s (PV Standard and PV Plus), motion control systems (Drives ULTRA), vision system programming, and industrial printing systems using inkjet, ribbon, and laser technology.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software for generating and interpreting electronic, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams.
  • Advanced knowledge of inspecting, repairing, and testing electronic equipment, and in the use of the necessary measuring equipment for these repairs (multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery. Advanced knowledge of electronics, electricity, pneumatics, and industrial automation. Advanced knowledge of industrial control (open and closed control loops, controllers, transmitters, transducers, sensors, and final control elements for level, flow, temperature, pressure, and vacuum variables).
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and root cause analysis tools, Lean Manufacturing, Microsoft Office and email software. Basic English level.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of Parker (5392) and Keyence (KV8000) PLC’s programming, Parker (Drives 590 and 690) and Keyence (Drives SV2) motion control systems, Keyence (CV-X100) and National Instruments (NI-EVS1460) vision systems, MARKEM (9040 and SDX40) inkjet and ribbon printing systems, and DOMINO (DDC2) laser printing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of project management and statistics.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial mechanics and hydraulics, and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and advanced knowledge of Excel (macro programming, pivot tables, pivot charts, etc.).
