About The Position

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support plant operations through the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment and facility systems. This hands-on role is critical to minimizing downtime, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining overall equipment reliability across the production environment. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical and mechanical expertise, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical training
  • Strong background in: Mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong background in: CNC machinery, PLC troubleshooting, and automated equipment
  • Strong background in: Hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic instruments such as multimeters and gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and troubleshoot complex systems
  • Working knowledge of LOTO, OSHA, and NFPA safety standards
  • Ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification
  • Ability to obtain EPA 608 certification for HVAC systems

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred
  • Experience with fabrication and welding equipment preferred
  • Experience with material handling equipment such as cranes and lifts is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with CNC machines, PLCs, VFDs, and automated equipment
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems ranging from 110V to 480V
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Maintain facility infrastructure, including power distribution, compressed air systems, lighting, and plumbing
  • Utilize CMMS to track work orders, maintenance activities, and parts inventory
  • Fabricate and repair components using shop equipment such as lathes, grinders, and welding tools
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards including LOTO, OSHA, and NFPA regulations
  • Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and external vendors to resolve equipment issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, safety programs, and process optimization
  • Assist with general facility maintenance, including grounds and seasonal support as needed
