About The Position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join their Manufacturing team in Chambersburg, PA. This role involves performing complex diagnostics and repairs on distribution center facilities and equipment under limited supervision. The technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment is properly maintained by executing diversified duties including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance to OEM standards. This individual will also collaborate with leadership to support internal customers and the maintenance team daily. Ingram's Operations team is crucial for maintaining maximum efficiency in distribution centers and warehouse facilities, prioritizing safety through training and accident prevention, and fostering continuous improvement through innovation and associate feedback. Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1 year as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment or equivalent year for year directly related education

Nice To Haves

• General understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
• General understanding of mechanical functions / applications.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability, with understanding of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
• Basic understanding of PLC.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment.
• Knowledge of INFOR-EAM or comparative Maintenance Management System.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
• Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
• Perform complex technical duties, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
• Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and makes necessary repairs; reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Operate motorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Helps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
