About The Position

The maintenance technician position, under limited supervision, is responsible for the general daily maintenance of the facility and satellite areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Relevant building maintenance experience
• Prior electrical, plumbing and general maintenance skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Maintain all common area exteriors, including roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, curbs, signage, fencing, and landscaped areas; remove debris, dirt, and buildup from surfaces as needed
• Perform pressure washing of sidewalks, curbs, parking areas, entry features, and other high-traffic exterior surfaces
• Conduct routine groundskeeping support, including litter removal, light landscaping touch-ups, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of common areas
• Inspect and maintain street and common area fixtures, including benches, signage, lighting fixtures, trash receptacles, and community structures
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep on roadways, parking areas, and hardscape features, including patching, striping touch-ups, and surface maintenance
• Complete general maintenance tasks such as painting, light plumbing, irrigation repairs, carpentry, minor electrical work, and other exterior-related repairs
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of equipment or materials used in community-wide projects or events in common areas
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or code compliance issues; report findings to supervisor
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions and taking corrective action when appropriate
• Support emergency response efforts related to weather events, roadway obstructions, or infrastructure issues within the community
