The Maintenance Technician will provide high quality service to residents, joining a team committed to excellence. This role involves holding oneself to high standards, demonstrating a positive, service-minded demeanor, and successfully managing multiple shifting priorities. Responsibilities include routine maintenance of the physical integrity of the community, daily grounds pickup, and ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The technician will also be the go-to person for resident emergencies. The company embraces technology, with HVAC Technicians receiving work orders on a Maintenance Mobile app, and a stipend provided for personal smartphone use to process work orders.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and OT hours)
  • Ability to be “on-call” for emergencies
  • Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders by using smartphone applications

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC training and certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all current and future residents
  • Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation)
  • Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Assist with court-ordered “set-outs” when necessary
  • Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days)
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Be responsive to on-call emergencies
  • Routine maintenance of the physical integrity of the community
  • Daily pickup of grounds
  • Ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff
  • Be the go-to person to ensure our residents are taken care of in the event of an emergency
