Maintenance Technician
About The Position
GTI specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and deployment of custom modular structures, shipping container-based structures, and ballistic metal fabrication. We serve multiple industries, including DOD contractors, military, disaster relief, and commercial markets. Our containerized and modular solutions are all built in-house at our factory in Buffalo, NY. Manufacturing capabilities range from military training, live fire enclosures, bathroom/shower units, expeditionary camps, medical facilities, water treatment, electrical/energy storage enclosures, and much more.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Driver's License.
- Ability to operate a zero-turn lawn mower, weed whacker, and other outdoor power tools.
- Forklift Certified.
- Ability to operate a floor sweeper.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules and requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in the plumbing and/or electrical field.
Responsibilities
- Lawn Cutting/ Weed Whacking
- Leaf Removal
- Snow Removal: Clearing snow and ice from walkways, driveways, and other areas during winter months, along with salting such areas.
- Seasonal Planting/ Garden Upkeep/ Weed control
- Trash Removal & Emptying Hoppers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Aid Facilities Manager in record/log keeping of Preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
- Ride on Floor Sweeper.
- Assist the Facilities Manager in monitoring subcontractors and vendors.
