Maintenance Technician - Full Time
About The Position
Apex Entertainment is looking for dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of our buildings, grounds, and amusement attractions - ensuring our facility operates at the highest standard each day. If you're hands-on, proactive, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you. Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping the entire facility clean, safe, and operating efficiently. You'll help ensure every guest enjoys a well-maintained, like-new environment from the moment we open.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to adapt and respond to shifting priorities
- Availability to work a flexible schedule - including days, nights & weekends
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude or background preferred
- Experience in amusement industry maintenance is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective maintenance to minimize equipment and facility downtime
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance to maintain a polished, like-new appearance
- Handle service calls for pinsetters and other equipment, resolving minor malfunctions and recording issues on daily logs
- Maintain and service Go-Karts and other amusement attractions as needed
- Assist in keeping the entire facility clean, safe, and up to Apex standards
- Ensure the workshop remains organized and presentable
- Clean and maintain bowling pins and lane machinery
- Communicate potential equipment issues to the Facility Maintenance Manager
- Maintain detailed logs for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual attraction inspections
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
