About The Position

Prodigy Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This role is crucial for maintaining the professional image and operational efficiency of properties, ensuring resident welfare. Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of grounds, common areas, and parking lots, assisting with curb appeal initiatives, completing work orders, and performing regular maintenance on building exteriors and interiors. The technician is also responsible for inventory management of parts and tools, maintaining an organized workshop, preparing vacant units for new residents within a three-day timeframe, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the company and resident's welfare.
Keep the grounds, garbage container areas, hallways, garages and/or parking lots, in a neat and orderly manner, not allowing any trash or debris to accumulate.
Assist management/leasing staff with curb appeal which may include detailing model units, putting out balloons, banners, a-boards, etc.
Complete work orders.
Regular maintenance of the building exteriors and interiors.
Parking areas are to be maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Keep an inventory on all parts and tools belonging to the community.
Maintain a neat and organized workshop area free of clutter and debris.
Turn vacant units within 3 days of the prior resident's move-out.
Change the lock(s) on all vacant unit doors.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
