About The Position

Prodigy Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This role is crucial for maintaining a professional image and ensuring the welfare of residents. The technician will be responsible for keeping the property grounds, common areas, and parking lots neat and orderly, assisting with curb appeal, and performing regular maintenance on building exteriors and interiors. Key duties also include completing work orders, managing inventory of parts and tools, maintaining an organized workshop, and preparing vacant units for new residents by turning them over within three days and changing locks. Adherence to safety policies and procedures is required.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the company and resident's welfare.
Keep the grounds, garbage container areas, hallways, garages and/or parking lots, in a neat and orderly manner, not allowing any trash or debris to accumulate.
Assist management/leasing staff with curb appeal which may include detailing model units, putting out balloons, banners, a-boards, etc.
Complete work orders.
Regular maintenance of the building exteriors and interiors.
Parking areas are to be maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Keep an inventory on all parts and tools belonging to the community.
Maintain a neat and organized workshop area free of clutter and debris.
Turn vacant units within 3 days of the prior resident's move-out.
Change the lock(s) on all vacant unit doors.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
