Requirements

  • 4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing with strong electrical knowledge.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting AC/DC systems, VFDs, PLCs, and flexographic press equipment.
  • Skilled in using electrical diagnostic and mechanical tools.
  • Experience with CMMS/PM software.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and equipment diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical or electromechanical certification or degree.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in industrial maintenance.
  • 5+ years working on flexographic presses (e.g., Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS).
  • Experience with CMMS platforms like Fiix, eMaint, or Maintenance Connection.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E and related PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC systems, motor drives, PLCs, sensors, control panels, and flexographic press equipment.
  • Diagnose and service mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct emergency and scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Set up, align, and calibrate production equipment to meet performance and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain and administer the PM software system, ensuring accurate task logs and schedules.
  • Use PM data to identify trends, recommend solutions, and reduce unplanned failures.
  • Train team members on PM protocols and ensure schedule compliance.
  • Maintain building systems including electrical distribution, compressed air, HVAC, and lighting.
  • Oversee inventory of electrical parts and critical spares.
  • Coordinate contractor/vendor work, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Follow all OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety policies, with a focus on electrical safety.
  • Use and enforce PPE, including arc flash protection as required.
  • Report safety issues, equipment concerns, and SOP deviations promptly.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and respond to equipment issues.
  • Support continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Assist other shifts as needed during urgent maintenance or critical downtime.
