About The Position
A person who is self-motivated, enjoys a challenge, a problem solver with a passion for fixing things, a team player who has attention to detail skills What You Will Be Doing: Oversee and perform machine PMs according to schedule setup by Manufacturing recommendations and recommend new PMs as needed. Oversee and troubleshoot equipment failures to find the root cause, repair as necessary, and be able to communicate with Maintenance Manager about those repairs. Assist in making sure operator PMs are performed. Work with Regional Maintenance support on projects such as new equipment installs, old equipment removal, and equipment relocations. Limited weekend work or off shift work on projects and PMs will be required Assist in keeping parts/tools storage organized and sorted. Assist machine operators with operational issues Electrical 480
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, expand, and retain knowledge.
- Ability to conduct routine PMs (greasing, cleaning, resetting, etc).
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control problems.
- Must be able to be on call (take turns) to help with after hour issues., may include driving to plant to help troubleshoot machines- will be compensated for time driving in and working after shift.
- Ability to be self-motivated and perform task efficiently.
- Ability to be safety oriented and perform all task with safety in mind.
- Must have advanced mechanical knowledge (gears, bearing, speeds, reducers, motors, etc)
- Must have basic knowledge of general building repair (carpentry, plumbing, etc)
Responsibilities
