As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll provide regular and preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner to all plant equipment. Work collaboratively among the maintenance and controls departments on preventative maintenance optimization and TPM efforts while using a wide variety of tools and equipment. Additionally, you’ll review and actively participate in risk assessments across the plant to ensure top-notch safe working order of equipment throughout our processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Perform required PM checks and report all problems to supervision.
- Learn to confidently operate all production equipment in extrusion and other areas.
- Safely and effectively troubleshoot electrical controls circuits (replacing fuses, resetting overloads, checking for failures on equipment, etc.).
- Address repair needs for building and grounds as needed.
- Utilize WMS and SAP maintenance system for work order functions.
- Maintain record keeping and inventory of spare parts as required.
- Develop training documents and train others.
