Maintenance Technician - Experienced Tech 2nd shift

About The Position

Are you ready for that next step in your career? MRPC is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Tech to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be the backbone of our production team, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are operating at peak performance.

Requirements

3+ years of maintenance experience in a plastics or manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency calls
A strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
High School Diploma or equivalent
Requires knowledge of machining technology, electrical codes, mechanical principles, advanced shop mathematics, job layout and precision measuring procedures, setups, tooling application, and operating methods.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and move heavier objects with proper equipment.
Capable of operating a hoist/lifting equipment safely and effectively.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and automated systems is a plus
Accredited journeyman apprenticeship in machine repair preferred
Three to five years’ experience in diversified machine operations.

Responsibilities

Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, extruders, and auxiliary equipment
Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Diagnosing and repairing equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime
Collaborating with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory
Assisting in equipment installations and upgrades
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies
