About The Position

Maintenance Technician - Texas Markets SpinXpress is one of the fastest-growing laundromat operators, with modern, high-volume locations serving thousands of customers every week. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean, and reliable environment. To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to oversee facility upkeep across multiple regions in Texas. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for addressing facility issues as they are reported through our ticketing system by store employees and District Managers. This is a travel-based role, and the technician must be organized and proactive in prioritizing trips based on workload and urgency. This position does not involve direct washer/dryer repairs. Instead, the technician ensures that supporting systems and the facility itself remain in excellent condition while coordinating contractors for larger or specialized repairs. Requirements

  • Experience in facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic repairs
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple maintenance requests using a ticketing system
  • Proven track record of responding promptly to urgent maintenance issues
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with employees, managers, and contractors
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to travel across Texas regions, organizing trips based on workload and urgency
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of completed maintenance tasks
  • Commitment to performing all work safely and in compliance with company standards

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to facility maintenance tickets submitted by laundromat employees and District Managers
  • Plan and schedule trips across assigned regions using the ticketing system to organize workload
  • Handle urgent issues (e.g., pipe bursts, leaks, or electrical concerns) by responding directly or coordinating outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc)
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including: Plumbing repairs (water lines, drain lines, valves, fittings), basic electrical work (lighting, switches, outlets), painting and drywall repair, broken tile replacement, and other cosmetic facility repairs
  • Troubleshoot minor building-related issues independently and escalate larger repairs to outside contractors
  • Keep accurate records of all completed maintenance in the ticketing system
  • Communicate with employees and managers to confirm repairs are completed and follow up on pending issues
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and meets company standards
