About The Position

Inframark, established in 1978, is a leading provider of water and wastewater management services, dedicated to sustainable solutions that protect the environment. The company offers a comprehensive range of services including operations, maintenance, management, infrastructure management, and consulting. This role is an entry-level Maintenance Technician position responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various equipment to extend its serviceable life. The technician will support facility operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance under guidance, contributing to a team that values growth, development, and making a positive difference.

Requirements

  • Ability to write simple correspondence and follow written/oral instructions.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and assist in team-based environments.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certification or ability to obtain.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior water or wastewater treatment facility experience preferred.
  • CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Lead Maintenance Technician in executing maintenance tasks.
  • Cleans and maintains tools, equipment, and assigned workspaces.
  • Prepares maintenance rigs and tools for daily operations.
  • Repairs or replaces pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other mechanical components.
  • Maintains records and documentation of work orders and completed tasks.
  • Performs routine equipment maintenance tests and inspections.
  • Adheres to all company safety policies and health procedures as they relate to essential job duties.
  • Available for all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and emergency on-call rotations.
  • Other Duties as required.
