About The Position

Responsible for the general maintenance; hydraulic and electronic systems while ensuring maximum production quality and quantity while promoting safety throughout the maintenance department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with reducing downtime and increase efficiencies when completing repairs and maintenance equipment. Works toward accomplishing objectives regarding production, technology, and resource needs. Complete all assigned installs, test, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment. Assist with strategies to reduce mechanical downtime and keep product flow and production. Participate in all maintenance training to keep up with the most updated version of operating procedures. Assist when possible with the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime and anticipate problems to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Complete maintenance KPIs such as asset utilization, maintenance cost PM, and are finalized as scheduled. Follows all safety, health, and environmental policies while maintenance equipment. Any other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or knowledge equivalent too.
  • Must have 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Thorough knowledge of world-class maintenance management systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, etc.
  • Demonstrates required skills; adapts to new technologies; troubleshoots technological problems; uses technology to increase productivity; keeps technical skills up to date.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers.
  • Ability to plan work on a daily schedule, work independently and be a highly motivated individual.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and apply those concepts to practical situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual should have a high proficiency of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Word Processing software.
