About The Position

If you've kept complex electrical systems running in demanding environments, this role is built for you. We're looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation and own the reliability of critical production equipment. Your ability to troubleshoot under pressure and work independently is exactly what this team needs.

Requirements

  • Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
  • Minimum 2-year technical degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment from schematics and prints
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V
  • Experience with AC/DC motors and wiring motor starters
  • Experience with 3-phase motors
  • VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) troubleshooting experience required
  • Accountable and dependable; takes ownership of mistakes and drives continuous improvement
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record; willingness to travel to other facilities as needed (rare)

Nice To Haves

  • PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
  • Experience building and installing control boxes on new or refurbished equipment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on industrial electrical systems, wiring, and control devices
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Build and install control boxes on new or refurbished equipment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records including work orders, manuals, and drawings
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to support maintenance operations
