About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician you will maintain, install, and repair machinery, buildings and equipment by performing highly diversified maintenance task (both planned and unplanned) at our Woodburn, KY metal processing plant. Every day as the Maintenance Technician you will... Collaborate internally and across PSI to schedule preventative maintenance and maintain records appropriately Support the engineering team with assembly of new equipment and facility improvements Diagnose and troubleshoot root cause of equipment failures Provide detailed shift handoff reports to incoming team members Follow and promote safe work practices at all times Maintain organized, clean work areas in alignment with 5S standards Contribute to building an efficient, effective, and cost-conscious maintenance operation Perform preventive maintenance, repair work, and routine inspections on forklifts and forklift batteries Other duties as assigned To thrive in this role, you must... Have an associate's degree and at least one year of relevant experience or a high school diploma and/or GED with at least three years of relevant experience. Be willing to work Friday - Sunday from 5am - 5pm and be readily available for emergency repairs in breakdown situations outside of your normal hours Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of equipment design, operation, and repair Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Ability to troubleshoot motors , pumps, hydraulics, digital sensors, limit switches, PLC's, VFD's, and electrical AC/DC drives. Requirements

  • Have an associate's degree and at least one year of relevant experience or a high school diploma and/or GED with at least three years of relevant experience.
