Maintenance Technician

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with state and federal health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experienced in general building maintenance and repair.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive to facility needs.
- Knowledgeable of safety, health, and building codes.
- Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Flexible and collaborative, with a commitment to supporting children and families.
- High school diploma, GED, or HSED required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks safely.
- Pass a physical exam and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across assigned centers to ensure safe, operational facilities.
- Respond to work orders promptly, resolving issues efficiently to minimize disruption to learning.
- Assist with setup, cleaning, and preparation of classrooms and shared spaces as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing standards, and Head Start Performance Standards.
