About The Position

Join BrassCraft Manufacturing as a Multi-craft Maintenance Technician and be part of an outstanding team dedicated to continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and service on all plant equipment. Primarily, this includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, Pneumatics and Hydraulics. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years’ experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Familiarity with PLCs and ladder logic
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Understand and comply with company safety standards and federal regulations.
  • Be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Capable lifting up to 40lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical certification
  • Associate degree in Industrial or Electronic Technology or Mechatronics.
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performing preventive, planned, and unplanned maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment to ensure minimal downtime and efficient performance.
  • Programming, repairing, installing, and upgrading Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), primarily Allen Bradley, and using ladder logic to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Installing, relocating, and removing equipment as necessary.
  • Performing installation of all pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems.
  • Rebuilding machines and overhauling components and attachments, involving dismantling, inspection, or replacement.
  • Using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to detail work and order parts.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Performing other related duties as needed and assigned.
