We have an opportunity for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. This role requires minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently. The technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring proper operation of plant and equipment.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Functional knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
  • Experience with robotic systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.
  • Basic welding, machining, and fabrication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods a variety of environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform diagnostics on robotic arms, CNC equipment, and vision systems.
  • Fabricate and repair custom fixtures and tooling to support production.
  • Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, boilers and compressed air.
  • Respond to facilities maintenance requests from office and non-manufacturing areas.
