About The Position

Outlook Group is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician who has good problem-solving skills, mechanical and/or electrical skills and excellent communication skills! We are currently hiring for the following shift which is Monday-Friday: 1 st shift – working 6 weeks of 6am-2pm and then a 1-week modified 1 st shift schedule of 10am-6pm while on-call. The maintenance team is responsible for maintaining production equipment, support equipment, building and grounds. Department goals are achieved through preventive maintenance, scheduled work orders, troubleshooting, failure analysis and improvement projects. The successful candidate must have good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Industrial mechanical and electrical skills/experience are preferred but willing to train the right candidate! This position would work on machines such as printing presses, conveyor systems, packaging equipment and robotics in the facility.

Requirements

  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred
  • Experience with drives, PLC's, HMI’s, PC's and machinery controls preferred
  • Experience with offset and flexographic printing and packaging equipment preferred
  • Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Journeyman Electrician or equivalent from two or more years; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Preferred but will train the right individual
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience with CMMS – Computerized Maintenance Management System (Limble) and Microsoft Outlook a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performing scheduled, preventive, and predictive maintenance
  • Increase equipment reliability with CPI (Continuous Process Improvement)
  • Plan and order materials/parts for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to enhance product efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform failure analysis and recommend changes
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams, technical manuals, and blueprints.
  • Work with, and provide direction to outside contractors as needed
  • Respond to maintenance pages
