About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of apartment homes and community facilities with minimal supervision. This role ensures that work orders, make-readies, and preventive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to Elevation's quality standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in multifamily, construction, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of apartment maintenance work
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • EPA 608 and HVAC certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and grounds upkeep on schedule and to company standards
  • Diagnose and repair standard maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances
  • Ensure vacant units are made rent-ready within established timelines and budget guidelines
  • Assist in organizing and prioritizing service requests, make-readies, and maintenance projects
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the property's physical condition
  • Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members to ensure positive relationships and quality service
  • Support special projects and capital improvements as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
