About The Position

Under a supervisor’s direction, perform a wide variety of tasks to maintain Safety, Production, Facility, and all related equipment. Primary responsibilities are to minimize equipment downtime by using preventive and predictive maintenance methods and perform all tasks in a safe manner with quality as a major objective.

Responsibilities

Following safe practices and performing safety verifications/checklists.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment.
Perform scheduled work orders on all equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair problems on all equipment.
Creating, updating, and completing of work orders in the CMMS system.
Logging of time and details of work completed in the CMMS system.
Daily oral and written communications with shift-to-shift hand off.
Daily completion of Standard Start tasks and communication with Production personnel.
Troubleshoot, repair, and work with contracted services for vehicle, forklift, and other powered equipment problems.
Troubleshoot, repair, and work with contracted services for HVAC, MAU, or chiller problems.
Knowledge of Fire System including preventive maintenance, procedures, and policies.
Perform roof repairs on an emergency, scheduled or preventive nature.
Basic understanding of Compressor and Boiler operations.
Assist other Technicians when possible and help cover their areas when they aren’t available.
Complete requested training programs and training refresher programs.
