About The Position

Family Tree Apartments is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes
pride in quality work and keeping buildings running the right way. This is a
hands-on role working at a 151‑unit multifamily community—no sitting behind a
desk, no guesswork, just real maintenance work that makes a difference for
residents.

If you’re experienced in apartment or building maintenance and want consistent

is an on-site position.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Hands on experience of basic building maintenance
• Take direction from the supervisor.
• Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
• Flexible to change work plans.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, etc.)
• Respond to work orders and urgent maintenance needs in a timely, resident-focused manner
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and turns
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Safely use tools and equipment while following OSHA and Mercy Housing safety standards
