This Maintenance Technician position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventive maintenance activities to optimize manufacturing capabilities. Industrial Electro-Electronic Equipment This area includes electric motors, drives and industrial automation equipment and services, and maintenance services. Electric motors and other related equipment find applications in practically all industrial segments, in equipment such as compressors, pumps and fans, for example. Energy Generation, Transmission and Distribution (GTD) Products and services included in this area are electric generators for hydraulic and thermal power plants (biomass), hydro turbines (small hydroelectric plants or PCH, and hydroelectric generators or CGH)), wind turbines, transformers, substations, control panels and system integration services. Commercial and Appliance Motors In this business area, our focus is the market of single phase motors for durable consumer goods, such as washing machines, air conditioners, water pumps, among others. Paints and Varnishes In this area, which includes liquid paints, powder paints, and electro-insulating varnishes, we have a very clear focus on industrial applications in Brazil and are expanding to Latin America and other regions.

Requirements

Be able and willing to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met
High school diploma or high school equivalent
Relevant licenses and certificates may be required
Courses in mechanical drawing, woodworking, electricity, and blueprint reading, recommended
Maintenance experience recommended
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS and SAP systems

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining the maintenance storeroom organization and inventory.
Implementing preventative maintenance and scheduling all preventive maintenance activities
Liaising with service providers to ensure all parts and supplies are on hand for preventive maintenance activities
Perform regular inspections of equipment and supplies
Responsible for the accurate and timely collection of equipment data and ensures data is recorded in the CMMS in a well-organized manner so it can be easily retrieved and utilized to facilitate maintenance of the systems
Purchasing any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required.
Updating maintenance logs for all machinery
Establishing protocols for non-mechanical maintenance
Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement
Actively participate in scheduling meetings with operation partners to finalize the priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times
