About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our injection molding operation. This role is critical to keeping production running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines, robotics, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a skilled technician who can work independently, think critically, and take ownership of equipment reliability. (Alternating 36/48-hour work weeks)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of injection molding maintenance experience (highly preferred) OR completion of a formal industrial maintenance training program
  • Strong troubleshooting ability in:
  • Electrical and electronic systems
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Robotics and automation
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on the night shift
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair injection molding presses, robots, and auxiliary systems
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
  • Support mold changes and ensure machines are production-ready
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance using a computerized PM system
  • Maintain facility systems, including compressed air, cooling water, and electrical distribution
  • Operate shop equipment (mills, lathes, welders, band saws, drill presses, torches, etc.)
  • Utilize forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Document maintenance work and communicate equipment issues proactively
  • Identify spare parts needs and prevent downtime before it happens
  • Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and electrical safe work practices
