About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment, machinery, and building systems. They ensure facilities operate efficiently and safely by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing, including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
  • Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
  • Daily overtime required and in-person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.
  • U.S. High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with tools, schematics, and testing devices.
  • Ability to speak clearly and audibly when interacting with team members or reporting issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
  • Repair faulty equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Perform daily repairs, HVAC filter changes, and minor plumbing/electrical fixes.
  • Handle tenant work orders (e.g., lighting, temperature).
  • Assist with restaurant-specific systems (grease trap inspections, exhaust fans).
  • Maintain heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct safety checks and fix potential hazards.
  • Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Order and manage inventory of supplies and parts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful platform operation, development, and business continuity.
