About The Position

Join our dedicated maintenance team at Nature Pure, a family-owned and operated organic egg farm. We're seeking a First-Shift Maintenance Technician with 2–5 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair. Person(s) must be able to work independently and manage their time effectively. Technician will perform a variety of maintenance jobs of a feed mill, offices, poultry houses, processing equipment, vehicles, and general grounds keeping. This position will require proper use of a preventative maintenance software package for work orders, parts, time, and updated notes. 1st Shift Schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Valid driver’s license.
Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of hand and power tools.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new systems and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

Experience in maintenance, construction, or agricultural environments.
Basic electrical, plumbing, or HVAC knowledge.
Familiarity with farm operations or animal agriculture.

Responsibilities

Perform basic preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as, farm machinery, conveyors, egg collection systems, and ventilation equipment.
Assist with the maintenance of water, feed, and lighting systems in poultry barns.
Support facility upkeep, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Help monitor and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues as they arise.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Follow all safety and biosecurity protocols to protect the health of the flock and team.
Assist other departments during peak operations or special projects as needed.
