Contract Maintenance Technician – Kalamazoo, MI Hours & Shifts Vary Pay Based on Experience Job Duties: Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and building systems according to established schedules to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Execute repairs efficiently and effectively, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Equipment Calibration: Calibrate and adjust machinery and equipment as needed to ensure accurate performance and adherence to specifications. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as equipment failures or facility issues, to mitigate potential risks and restore functionality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inspection reports. Provide regular updates on maintenance tasks completed and outstanding issues. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to address them.
