It’s our goal to make everyone’s lives more productive, convenient, enjoyable, and safe. ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Port Edwards Maintenance Team! The Maintenance Technician provides safe day to day maintenance and preventative maintenance support across the entire plant site for a variety of equipment. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, pumps, centrifuges, tanks, piping, compressors, fans, heat exchangers, structural elements, pressure relief devices, etc. Repairs, rebuilds, installation and modification may be required on such equipment on any given day.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Journeyman Millwright/Associate level Industrial Mechanic Certified
  • Superior troubleshooting skills a must
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to read P&ID and shop/fabrication drawings.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills to work in a self-directed work group
  • Work experience to show the ability to be a reliable team member
  • Must pass pre-hire physical & drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years electrical experience if preferred
  • A background in heavy industry or the Chemical Process Industries is an asset
  • Familiarity with ANSI/ASME and/or boiler codes is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance rounds (inspections, vibration measurements, infra-red thermography, etc.)
  • Conduct rebuilds of rotating assemblies
  • Removal of failed/failing equipment and re-installation of new/rebuilt units, piping repairs
  • Ordering and Controlling of Repair Materials
  • Manage relevant Work Orders in the CMMS in support of PM compliance (timely completion / closure, etc.)
  • Update maintenance files, drawings, and documentation.
