About The Position
Brookside Properties is hiring a Maintenance Technician with experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing . This position is responsible for completing work orders, preparing apartments for new residents, and maintaining the overall condition of the community. If you have experience as a Maintenance Technician, Apartment Maintenance Technician, Service Technician, or HVAC Technician , we encourage you to apply.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of maintenance experience (apartment or property maintenance preferred)
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions
- Basic tools and reliable transportation required
Nice To Haves
- HVAC experience preferred
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests and work orders (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
- Perform apartment turns and make ready units
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues
- Maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing guidelines
