This role is a great fit for candidates with backgrounds in foundry, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or diesel mechanics. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in our operations by installing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive approach to assignments
  • Ability to read and apply shop math, technical drawings, formulas, and precision instruments
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to plan and perform complex tasks
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, twist, and stand throughout the shift
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • Reliable attendance in line with company standards
  • Commitment to safety, including proper use of required PPE (goggles, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, gloves as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on production equipment
  • Use diagnostic tools (PLC feedback, operator screens, vibration, and oil analysis) to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Interpret schematics, engineering specs, and technical drawings to perform cause-and-effect analysis
  • Coordinate and perform machine repairs while mentoring maintenance staff in troubleshooting techniques
  • Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, and component replacement plans
  • Audit repairs and allocate resources effectively to minimize downtime
  • Research improved components and reliable vendors to enhance equipment performance
  • Complete accurate documentation, including work orders, PMIs, and inspection logs
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to housekeeping, area improvements, and team initiatives
