About The Position

Responsible for supporting operations in regard to equipment & facility maintenance and repair. Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant technician experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Technical certification/licensing or equivalent experience in electro mechanical manufacturing technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a fast-paced, deadline driven design & build team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety protocols
  • Ability and willingness to perform moderate physical tasks. Continuously (67%-100%) moves about between areas and tasks, standing/walking up to 8 hrs/day. Frequently (34%-66%) lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 35-50 pounds. Must work on ladders and use medium and heavy hand tools. Occasionally pushes (15%) @ 46 lbs of force and/or pulls @ 46 lbs of force (15%) up to 35-50 lbs. Occasionally climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling (40%); and must have fine finger dexterity.
  • Ability to use common, electrical and tolerance measuring devices and equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Good organizational and work planning skills

  • Disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without a sponsorship for employment visa status (e.e. H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • PLC and automated manufacturing equipment knowledge a plus.
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Repair of production machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, installations and upgrades as required on production equipment.
  • Perform facilities related maintenance tasks including but not limited to repairs, upgrades, painting and facility up keep, and installations as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to operators during equipment problems.
  • Perform & Assist in documentation for equipment related work, PM schedules, spare parts list, etc.
  • Perform inventory and organization of equipment and facilities related spare parts.
  • Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with shift supervisor/lead as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Work with shift lead /supervisor to identify and resolve production issues.
