About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain residential and commercial buildings located in Downtown Oahu. All candidates must successfully complete a background check, have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Applicants should possess hands-on experience in maintenance, including basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including: -Painting - Plumbing - Electrical work - Mechanical systems - Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) - Painting/Drywall - Grounds maintenance - Access small spaces measuring 18 inches by 18 inches. - Ensure that mechanical equipment and systems are functioning properly and perform repairs as needed. - Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property managers, vendors, and customers. - Engage in constant movement, including standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout shifts. - Lift, push, and pull weights ranging from 50 to 75 pounds. - Walk and stand for extended periods and bend frequently during the shift. - Create and maintain work orders. Create and maintain purchase orders. - Complete any additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the HBM supervisor or property management.

Requirements

  • Must pass a background check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Customer service-oriented approach
  • General maintenance experience
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Previous experience in creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow
