About The Position

Nirvana Center Dispensaries operates 9 licensed cannabis dispensaries in the state of Arizona. We also have multiple cultivation and manufacturing facilities across the state. We are looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians with HVAC experience to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling systems, and other building systems. While this is a general maintenance role, candidates with HVAC experience are strongly preferred due to the operational needs of our facilities.

Requirements

General maintenance and repair knowledge across multiple trades
Basic to intermediate knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance staff
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance needs across multiple locations
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Reliable transportation
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred
HVAC experience strongly preferred (certification a plus, not required)
Maintenance & repair experience required
Must have a professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays (we operate 365 days a year)
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into tight or awkward spaces
Ability to lift and carry tools and materials as needed
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS, TRANSPORTATION (TRUCK PREFERABLY)

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial, industrial, or cultivation environments is a plus

Responsibilities

Inspect and identify equipment, systems, or machines in need of repair
Troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
Perform general maintenance and repairs across building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Assist with HVAC system monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
Coordinate with licensed HVAC vendors for complex repairs or system servicing as needed
Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems
Complete general repairs such as drywall, painting, doors, and fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints or equipment manuals when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and assist with overall facility upkeep
Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
Perform other related duties as assigned
