About The Position

Morgan Properties offers a full-time paid training program, 'Fix It Forward,' designed to train individuals with no prior apartment maintenance experience to become Maintenance Technicians. The program typically lasts 3 to 6 months and is structured into three levels: Beginner (focusing on safety, tools, and basic tasks), Intermediate (involving more repairs with less supervision), and Advanced (preparing the trainee for complex work and a permanent role). Participants receive on-the-job training, company-paid EPA & CPO certifications, and a $1/hour raise at each training level. Upon successful completion, trainees are placed into a permanent Maintenance Technician role with additional benefits.

• Learning and applying HVAC basics
• Learning and applying Plumbing basics
• Learning and applying Electrical basics
• Learning and performing Appliance repair
• Learning and performing Apartment turns
• Learning and performing Groundskeeping tasks
• Learning and performing Preventative maintenance
• Practicing Customer service
• Adhering to Safety procedures
