Maintenance Technician Trainee The Maintenance Technician Trainee position is designed to develop Maintenance Technicians for Niagara Bottling’s Maintenance department. An MT Trainee participant will learn the skills necessary to act as a Maintenance Technician through hands-on training and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) courses. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. The MT Trainee will complete the learning objectives of a 18-24 month training program to be able to: Shadow and learn from Operators, PM Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians, and Sr. Maintenance Technicians Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of the following equipment in the manufacturing facility: Injection Molder Blow Molder Filler Capper Labeler Packer Palletizer Conveyors Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or assigned direct supervisor Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of the learning objectives for each learning activity in both theory and practice Upon successful completion of the MT Trainee program, the participant will be placed into a full-time position as a Maintenance Technician. Requirements

  • 1-2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 0 Years – Experience in Position
  • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects experience may include a combination of work experience and education
  • MT Trainee will be required to be available to work different shifts throughout the program, including nights and weekends.

  • 2 Year – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 1 Year – Experience working in Position
  • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects experience may include a combination of work experience and education

Responsibilities
