About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment according to the established PM schedule. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems to maintain optimal equipment performance. Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic issues in machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems as they arise. Accurately document corrective actions and completed maintenance activities. Identify safety concerns and promptly address or repair unsafe conditions. Record all maintenance and repair activities on PM documentation and forms. Ensure adequate lighting and safe working conditions in maintenance areas. Support the maintenance team by completing additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Senior Management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Maintenance, Millwright, Electrical, or Electronic certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance or industrial environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
  • Training or demonstrated experience in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Training or experience in mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of WHMIS regulations and safe material handling practices.
  • Understanding of injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.
  • Familiarity with Quality and Environmental Management System procedures relevant to the role.
  • Knowledge of forms, tags, and labeling standards associated with maintenance activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance, Millwright, Electrical, or Electronic certification preferred.
  • Basic machining and welding skills are considered an asset.
