About The Position

The Level 2 Maintenance Technician is an advanced role requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills. This technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both electrical and mechanical systems across the facility. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (motors, controls, PLCs, wiring) and mechanical systems. Perform advanced preventive and predictive maintenance. Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as needed. Lead or assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. Mentor and train lower-level maintenance staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance with both electrical and mechanical focus.
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Must have the ability to lift 65 lbs. unassisted.

  • Promote good housekeeping, 5S, and safety practices in all activities.
  • Must be able to perform all tasks assigned.
  • Must have the ability to solve technical issues.
