About The Position

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician – Level II (2nd Shift) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Support Manufacturing Needs: Perform skilled activities that directly support the manufacturing business, using appropriate tools and equipment with minimal guidance. Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by reporting hazards, using personal protective equipment, and engaging in HSE training. Maintain High Quality Standards: Apply high standards of workmanship, support equipment uptime, and perform quality inspections to ensure product excellence. Optimize Equipment Performance: Conduct preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency. Promote a Safe Work Environment: Recognize and correct hazards, promote interdependence among colleagues, and minimize environmental impact through safe practices. Enhance Process Efficiency: Work with peers to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and participate in continuous improvement activities. Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear communication with your team and support staff, ensuring smooth operations and collaboration. Contribute to Team Development: Participate in training and personal development and actively engage with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, and processes.
