Repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains highly complex production equipment as necessary to ensure continuous production flow. 2. May provide leadership and assign work for manufacturing technicians and ensures the proper and efficient completion of assignments and processes. 3. Performs and may plan assignments of a non-routine nature. 4. Prepares test specimens, adjusts and operates equipment, and records test data, pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors. 5. Receives technical advice from engineers or supervisor for complex problems. 6. Assists with training other Maintenance Technicians. 7. Working overtime may be required for this position. 8. Performs other duties and tasks as required. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS • Lifting -- Not to exceed 50 lbs. – local practice may apply. • Writing • Sitting • Standing • Bending • Visual acuity • Color perception • Depth perception • Reading • Field of vision/peripheral • Fine motor skills • Noise • Chemical vapors • Soldering fumes SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with seven years of related technician experience. • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve highly complex technical problems. • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to delegate work. • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work well as a team member. • Knowledge of various tooling and testing equipment. Requirements

  • Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with seven years of related technician experience.
