About The Position

The Maintenance Technician IV performs advanced facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to established service, quality, and safety standards. This position may be assigned to specific areas or equipment as required by client or organization. As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of six to eight (6-8) years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

Conducts advanced inspections of equipment and systems to identify any potential issues or malfunctions.
Performs preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, filter changes, and equipment cleaning.
Repairs and replaces defective parts or components using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex equipment malfunctions to determine the root cause and implement appropriate solutions.
Collaborates with other team members and departments to prioritize and complete complex maintenance tasks within specified timelines.
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
Ensures compliance with safety regulations and promotes a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
Assists in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment or systems.
Provides support during equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
Assists in training and mentoring other maintenance technicians.
