About The Position

Marvin, a premier manufacturer of windows and doors, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in maintenance and repair tasks within a dynamic and supportive setting. This individual will be required to have direct supervision. This internship will begin on May 26, 2026 and end on August 14, 2026. Requirements

  • Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics, electronics and controls
  • Must possess knowledge in manufacturing processes, mechanical machines and mathematical concepts.
  • Must be able to work with power tools and computer equipment
  • Must have quick and decisive problem-solving techniques.
  • Currently enrolled in a technical or vocational program related to maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant.
  • Perform regular inspections and assist with repairs on any equipment in the facility.
  • Assist in the set up of new equipment; troubleshoot equipment using basic tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
